My passion for birth work began 23 years ago with a chance encounter at a hospital, where I met an incredible doula. We struck up a conversation, and I had the opportunity to ask her all about her work. In that moment, I knew I had discovered a dream worth chasing. Over the next two decades, I had the privilege of being invited into personal spaces to support the births of my loved ones, while also dedicating time to raising my own family. In 2023, I gave myself the ultimate Mother’s Day gift: completing my professional birth doula training through DONA International. This milestone wasn’t just for me, but for all the families I would have the honor of serving. Since then, I’ve supported many beautiful births and helped families work toward the birth experiences they envisioned. Because my journey began with a heartfelt conversation about birth, it felt only natural to name my business Talk Birthy To Me.
